First Kim K got us obsessed with contouring. A technique used to enhance the facial
structure through makeup with subtle definition.
Now, we are putting the bronzer away, and picking up our highlighters to strobe.
Strobing (or reverse contouring) involves a high emphasis on dewy skin by highlighting where light would
naturally hit your face - cheekbones, brow bones, centre of
your forehead, down your nose, and on your chin.
It is a technique which involves a
high emphasis on dewy skin and highlighting to give a bright, glowy
look.
This French
trend, is a way of emphasising the beauty in a person’s face rather
than changing the face altogether through contouring.
Here are my fave strobing tools:
MAC
Mineralise Skin Finish
Soft & Gentle
$47
MAC
Lustre Drops
Pink Rebel
$47
Happy strobing!

Live from the red carpet, the Much Music Awards are well under way.
Our fave so far is Modern Family star Sarah Hyland, looking gorgeous in the cut-out, thigh-high split black number.
Move over black, the CMT Music awards had us seeing a sea of white.
Who was your favourite?
Last night's Tony Awards showed us, that not only is hair pulled back the 'in' look for red carpets, but also that Ashley Tisdale still has it.
The Tis rocked a two-piece ensemble by London brand Solace London.
After the success of this look, the brand have made these pieces available to the general public - so you too can now rock the affordable two-piece.
Love the look, shop it now:
Loletta Top - AUD $222.63
Stelis Trousers - AUD $149.52 (were $299.04)
This week's LFL comes straight off the back of yesterday's Tony Awards Red Carpet.
Former Will & Grace actor, Debra Messing stunned the audience in this cross-necked dress.
The designer threads looking distinctively similar to the Kookai Becky dress, for only a fraction of the price (RRP $180).
Keep reading to see who our favourite Tony Awards red-carpet look of the evening went too.
This week the US-of-A had 2 red-carpets, the Glamour Awards and the CFDA awards.
Here were our highlights:
Attention high-end shoeaholics - it's time to save some pennies.
Think you're seeing Senso, Christian Louboutins and Maison Valentino?
Incorrect. You are seeing Lipstik, Windsor Smith & Diavolina.
Save yourself hundreds and hundreds of dollars with these Look for Less, and have your friends feeling some serious shoe-envy.
....Maybe it's Maybelline.
Thanks to the team at L'Oreal for my goodie bag!
Maybelline is a perfect introduction line for girls who haven't used make-up before, or for those who are looking for a cheaper alternative to brands such as MAC.
And the red carpet is off!
When it comes to the Billboard Music Awards, it's all about the fun. Non traditional hemlines, and plenty of cut-outs.
Well these ladies delivered....
Taylor Swift and Guiliana Rancic wowed the red-carpet in these monochromatic looks.

Last night we had two fashion events at different ends of the world - the Cannes Film Festival and the InStyle Women of Style Awards.
Although polar opposites, there was one thing they both had in common....white, white and more white.
The ladies stunned on the red carpet, dressed from head to toe in this neutral tone.
Move over 50 shades of Grey - and welcome 50 shades of White.

The Logies red-carpet has kicked off with a bang.
With our predictions of sleeves (Cheyenne Tozzi), monochrome (Jennifer Hawkins, Ksenija Lukich) and details (Carrie Bickmore) each coming true.
Can we all just take a minute to remember that Carrie Bickmore just gave birth not long ago?
BUT there can only be one favourite of the evening, and that goes to Scherri Biggs in Cappellazzo Couture.
And with every winner, there has to be a loser (it's only fair). This year, we are awarding this to Olympia Valance in J'Aton couture - that was so far off the mark. Dressed as though she was going to a church ceremony, rather than a red carpet event - it is time to fire your stylist Olympia!

To help us warm up for tomorrow nights Logie awards (the low-budget, D-grade celebrity version of the Oscar's), here is a glimpse of the fashion from yesterday's 2015 Billboard Latin Music Awards.
Our predictions are longer sleeves and hemlines, plenty of monochrome, and intricate details.

One good thing about the seasons changing, is that Chanel release their new Vernis nail lacquers.
Queue in their Mediterrenee collection for Summer 2015.
This drop, Chanel has offered us 4 new shades - each must brighter than the last few releases.
What are your thoughts?
Every girl loves a LBD; so when we laid our eyes on this Sass & Bide number (pictured left) for $690 , we sent our copy-cat scouts on the look-out.
With thanks to our friends at Kookai, they have designed a sexy replica for only $180 (pictured right).
What will you do with the $510 left over?
Last night was the Prix De Marie Claire evening. Our Aussie beauties stunned on the red carpet, dressed in our favourite colour - BLACK.
The American Country Music (ACM) Awards were live today in America.
We spotted a touch of Aussie-pride, as this Manning Cartell-clad beauty walked down the red-carpet.
But our favourite look goes to Jessie James-Decker, who instead of hiding her growing bump in a flowy number, showed us that mummies can be yummy in a tight-white long sleeve gown.
I am calling this week's Look for Less, Look for SO much Less.
Ever since Kookai's Architect Top hit the runway, there has been a buzz to get one's hands on this cape crossed top (RRP $130).
Maybe that's because it is the cheaper alternative to this Thurley Hanglider cape/top hybrid (RRP $249.99).
These cape tops that will have you feeling like Superwoman have a $119.99 price-point difference.
