Festival Frenzy

As we move out of Winter, and our Facebook feeds fill with advertisements about upcoming music festivals, girls start to go into panic mode...WHAT DO I WEAR?!

A few tips for these festival goers, is not only to look fashionable, but dress "sensibly".

Now when I say sensibly, I don't mean runners and leggings, I mean some cute flats, a floppy hat and cool clothes (no long sleeves allowed!).

Here is a fashion savvy festival look, with using a palette of 3 colours - black, gold and red.

A midriff top, is seen as a festival staple, however, this isn't ANY midriff top, this is a beautiful sequined Aje piece, that will give you an edge over the other girls.

The shorts are from Asos, and have a cute finish on the hem. They are made from linen, so will be super comfy on the day.

The shoes are from Senso, they are a boot making it nice and easy for you to dance the day away, but yet have some sort of height (some times shoes that are too flat, can be equally as uncomfortable as shoes that are too high).

The floppy hat is from Sportsgirl, to help protect you from heatstroke. You don't want to see yourself on the news the next day, for being taken off to hospital, right?

The sunnies are from Mimco, again a staple for fashion festivals.

The big chunky cuff is from Hermes, and to keep with the gold theme I added a black and gold Inclusion ring from Louis Vuitton, and some small gold studs from Mimco.

The Louis Vuitton Vivienne bag, also ties into the black and gold theme. This bag is light, and can be crossed over the body easily to keep all your possessions close to you. This is also big enough to keep some cash, mobile and of course your lippy inside.

Talking of lippy, because we are decked out in gold, I wanted to incorporate some colour, so have opted to use this through make-up. I have chosen a rouge lipstick from Chanel (that is long-lasting - just what you need for a festival), and a good quality Chanel red nailpolish that won't chip easily.

Lastly, to tie in the red make-up, I wanted to use 1 more red item to complete this look, so I have chosen this red Mimco Sportivo watch to bring this look together.

See it is possible to look chic, and be "sensible" at the same time...
